Natural voice
Natural voice means speaking on stream with your own voice.
Part of Communication methods.
How it works
- Input: Spoken words into a microphone.
- Processing: Nothing that changes the voice itself.
- Delivery: The creator’s own voice in the stream.
Why it’s included
Voice Protocol focuses on the other methods, but many creators mix their natural voice with them. Someone might talk on one stream and use text or TTS on another, or speak while a soundboard and avatar expressions handle the reactions.
What it isn’t
Voice conversion and speech-to-text-to-speech also start with the creator speaking, but viewers hear a different voice. With natural voice, viewers hear the creator’s own.
Questions
- Why is natural voice listed as a communication method?
- Because many creators combine it with other methods. Listing it makes it possible to describe a full setup, such as speaking in some moments and typing in others.
- Is a voice changer still your natural voice?
- No. A voice changer alters how your speech sounds before viewers hear it. Voice Protocol lists that under voice conversion.
